My family and I always come here. Although the building is not very big inside, they do a great job getting everyone in and out and also have a food truck! The food is a solid 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!! The staff is very friendly & always smiling . If you ever stop in Birmingham and looking for a good southern home cooked meal, this is the place to go & don’t forget to try their juices and cakes .

The staff are awesome, I had oxtails, greens, fried okra, poundcake, hamburger, steak, and mac & cheese... everything was awesome and I’m going again two days in a row now.

My Family and I was visiting from NC & NY, We were greeted like we were Family. The Food was so good & everything was very well seasoned. We had the Ribs, chicken, fried wings, yams, pinto beans & Mac N Cheese. All good. 10/10 by far. The BBQ was the best I ever had

We are still eating at the benches across the street. We always try to support local and MANNNNN this was no wrong turn. People were nice and the food was ! I had The fish, greens, Mac and cheese with okra - to share of course he had the beef tips and there was no wrong choice. My only wish is they had a sample plate- a little of everything. When your in Birmingham hit up Jasmine’s Cafe. You won’t regret it! I’ll Miss you Jasmines when I’m back in Utah craving that fish! Edit: Portions were huge! Worth every single penny spent!
Another hidden jewel meat & three. This one in old Pratt City. A tiny place, geared for to go plates with darn good soul food served from their steam table. They have a daily menu and specials. Nice variety and friendly folks.
